Magali Charles is an eCommerce and Digital Expert with 15 years of experience in the industry. She was responsible for developing and launching 6thStreet.com (part of Apparel Group), one of the leading online destination for fashion and beauty in the Middle East. Prior from spearheading the digital transformation at Apparel Group, Magali was heading online trading, marketing and CRM functions globally for brands like NET-A-PORTER, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Mothercare and The Body Shop.
As CEO of ThinkSmart, he has over 25 years progressive managerial in multinational large organizations, and served as a CIO for over 12 years in Banking, Telecom and Public Sector, taking senior management positions for over 18 years. He is currently a Board Member of Bahrain Telecom Company (BATELCO).
Christina Ioannidis is an internationally recognized, speaker, trainer and entrepreneur. She is the Chief Engagement Officer of Aquitude, an international brand engagement consultancy which works with corporations to engage with their main stakeholders – their employees and their customers. Household names have entrusted Christina with their consumer engagement including Hermès, Kaya Skin Clinic, Sky News Arabia among others. She has also consulted on digital engagement and loyalty to some of the most forward-thinking digital players in the online gaming world, such as Ladbrokes plc, Betfair plc and Gala plc.
David has worked at the intersection of marketing and technology for more than 20 years. Most recently, David has delivered high profile Ecommerce sites in the GCC and delivers training courses on the subjects of Big Data, Internet of Things and Content.
Huda Qurban is a Service Delivery & eCommerce Manager who looks after Kanoo Travel Bahrain’s operations and oversees the eCommerce activity across all its GCC branches. Having 12 years of hands-on experience in the travel and tourism industry, Mrs. Qurban has overseen the entire project cycle of technology implementation, vendor selection and management, commercial and business development strategy among other activities entailed in the eCommerce function.
Ahmed Al Mahri
Ahmed has been working with the BENEFIT Company (Bahrain’s Network for Financial Transactions) since 2009, with experience of more than 10 years in banking and financial services technology. He studied Masters in Business Administration in Ahlia University, and holds a number of professional certificates in Banking and finance. Ahmed been part of the Project Management teams of national technology projects like the Cheque Truncation System, Electronic Fund Transfer System and most recently The National Electronic Wallet (BenefitPay).

Syed Sohail Ali bringing with him over 19 years’ experience in the aviation industry in both operational and commercial domains. Sohail’s experience encompasses eCommerce, marketing, online sales, loyalty programs, corporate communication, corporate sales and customer relations. He has lead the regional marketing team of Cathay pacific in KSA and Bahrain. Currently he heads the partnership and affiliate marketing for Ejazah.com.
